Environment and web design often give ways to the same clichés. Working in the environmental industry, I do not count anymore how many children I have seen running in green meadows. Here is my selection of websites who go further and re-invent the environmental web design.

> GE Plug into the smart grid
Pros: good interactivity
Cons: loading is too long, clickable zones could be more apparent

> WWF Brazil
Pros: user-centered, participative features
Cons: too much clicks to get to the point!

Eco-Emballages
Pros: perfectly designed and animated, great interactivity
Cons: no participation…

eco-emballages

> Hank the singing bottle
Pros: the best video ever seen on recycling with a melody that settles in your head. The British touch is everywhere: read the letter, for instance to Wikipedia asking to associate the bottom line “I’ll be back” to the recycled bottle instead of Terminator…
Cons: I am still looking for one!

For other great full-flash websites, enjoy the Smashing Magazine selection.
